Bishop Stone and Metal Arts has been in the Virginia Historical Society’s headquarters building several times for stone carving projects and in every case, has far exceeded my expectations.  They worked closely with our security, maintenance and curatorial staff to keep disruptions to a minimum and to safeguard the collections.

The artistic elements of the work have been superlative.  In all our projects, the carving was clean, crisp, exactly as we wanted it.  They worked from a carefully thought-out template with much attention to the design, the spacing, and the typography.

I would encourage anyone thinking of commissioning Bishop Stone to visit the Virginia Historical Society to view their work.  I will use them again.
